Katrina and I slept in for once, then headed off to the Bank.  We were able to get Tie Wear Clothing accounts created (for her business) and then went to another bank and opened some new accounts for us.  We are in the stages of planning for our long-term goals and looking into the future with great hope and expectations.  Some would say “that is not vacation” well maybe not for some, but Katrina and I needed to have some time to discuss the future and how we are going to shape ours.  If you have never done that I would in encourage you to sit down with your spouse (take a day off) and plan your future.  Goal setting has worked for us in our marriage, we write down our goals in marriage, life, vision, future hopes and dreams, then we watch God do the work.  So day 4 of our vacation was fun, relaxing and best of all free to accomplish.

We then finished our day off with a great meal from Pepperoni’s in Duluth Georgia.  This is the best spot for pizza (in my opinion) in the entire south.  Sorry, no pictures and I have lost my iphone and now have to replace it, so I decided to upgrade to the iphone 4g, it sounds like they got all the bugs worked out.  (I hope)

Ok, so many of you may not know this but yesterday Katrina and I celebrated our 13th year of marriage.  It is our desire that our marriage continues to grow stronger the more we years that we track.  I love her with my entire heart and I am so proud to be her husband.  Happy Anniversary!!!!

Now, here is what we did on our 3rd day off.  We woke up (actually Lacy our puppy, woke us up)  headed off to McDonald’s for a little breakfast, then made our way to the Georgia Aqaurium (finally) and spent a few hours, it was amazing, I was able to touch several stingrays and a nerf shark.  That was way cool!  Then, we drove around Atlanta and made a few stops at some local galleries.  We went to YoungBlood Gallery, The Beehive, at the Collective and then The Boutique Guitar Exchange.  We then decided to go to a restruant called GoodFellas where I orded some fries and some of the best pizza in ATL (so far that I discovered).  Then we headed home to relax, watch some Smallville and at 7pm went to a place called Kurts & Vreny’s for our Anniversary meal.

So that was day 3 of our vacation, now off to another…

I must say that Katrina and I had an amazing time yesterday.  We spent $30.00 watched 3 movies at the theater (that cost $2.00 a person) and had some amazing popcorn.  Living in Atl, GA comes with a large amount of opportunities to be entertained.  We went to Venture Cinemas in Duluth, GA and watched:

All of theses movies were amazing, entertaining, great storyline and most all safe for the family.

Hey there, Katrina and I wanted to share some pictures of our day yesterday.  We went to a lot of different places and really made the day of it.  I have attached some photos and a video for you.  We started off going to Cracker Barrel (which is Katrina’s favorite place for breakfast) then proceeded down to the Georgia Aquarium (we discovered that the Saturday before school starts is not a great day to go there, so we are going back this week), then made our way to Chateau Elan and ate at Paddy’s Pub.  We then finished our day off with a few Smallville shows (we are watching this series right now and it ROCKS!)  So this was Day 1 of our Vacation.

So, I woke up this morning and thought… holy crap! I’m on vacation. So as of today I am officially on vacation. Katrina and I have the whole week completely un-planned for once,  we get to do whatever we want, when we want. No work, pressure, stress of closing deals, news, politics, and other various shiz that creeps up. I am grateful for the ability to work for a company that allows (especially in this economy) the flexibility to have some much needed time off.

I keep asking myself, how can I do this all the time… you know, be on vacation? I am not sure, but ready for any advice.

It appears that Katrina and I are going to the Georgia Aquarium today and maybe the World of Coca-Cola and then off to Savannah Bed and Breakfast Inn for some R&R. Check back to see pics as the week goes on.
